JAY-Z’s ‘4:44’ Music Video Is Here, Beyoncé & Blue Ivy Are In It

Jay has debuted the official music video. A clip touching on a number of different subjects.

It’s been two weeks since JAY-Z released his latest full-length album 4:44, his first full-length LP since 2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail. Now, Jay has debuted the official music video to the album’s title track ‘4:44,’ a clip touching on a number of different subjects.

“4:44” is the track that is garnering much attention from his new album, with its lyrics suggesting the song is an apology to Beyoncé. He raps, “Look, I apologize, often womanize/Took for my child to be born/See through a woman’s eyes/Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles/Took me too long for this song/I don’t deserve you.”

And interestingly enough, towards the beginning of the “4:44” music video, a clip of singer Eartha Kitt talking about love and relationships appears, and she says, “There’s nothing more beautiful than falling in love. But falling in love for the right reasons. Falling in love for the right purpose.”

The video strings together viral internet videos touching on black American culture. But towards the end of the video, we see Jay and Bey on stage together performing “Drunk In Love.” And the clip ends with Blue Ivy.
